ABOUT TESSA
Leaving her Iowa roots behind Tessa has been living in Chicago for 15 years and thriving in the industry for 13 plus years. She started in her medium of Commercial Photography after graduating from Columbia College of Chicago in 2011 as a production assistant. Fast forward Tessa became the first female Location Scout and first female in their department for NBC’s Chicago Med (S4-7).
Tessa has transitioned back to her passion of commercial photography and production coordinating/managing/producing, but still loves to help where she is needed.
Tessa, having an extensive background in many roles within the industry, brings a unique knowledge to her sets. She understands what it takes for each department to succeed. She loves supporting her crew, interacting with clients and agency, providing creative solutions to issues, thrives for attention to detail, fast and efficient communication is a key driver. Tessa believes a well made crafty table & delicious catering is a key element to keeping a crew thriving for their clients!
This all allows her to be the best Production Coordinator, Production Manager and On-site Producer she can be for her clients. Tessa loves being on set, meeting new people, discovering new places, traveling for work and bringing a smile to peoples face through the day!
